Growing Great Places Together

Town of Woodstock, New Brunswick -
2024 Atlantic Participant

Our historic and beautiful town is located on the New Brunswick-Maine border where the Meduxnekeag flows into the Wolastoq at the heart of our downtown.

Woodstock is the oldest incorporated town in the province, dating back to 1856. We boast many very well-preserved examples of fine19th century architecture, with homes and businesses alike making up a self-guided walking tour that visitors can follow from the L.P. Fisher Public Library to learn more about the history of this unique former hub of transportation and industry.

Our town is nestled into the rolling hills and valleys of the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. A wide array of nature experiences awaits visitors to the region; experience the many beautiful parks and natural sites that are just a short drive away, as well as the charming local businesses and restaurants that bring the town to life.

We have many beautiful hiking and walking trails to explore, and our vibrant community offers many recreational amenities, open to serve our community members and visitors.

With the many festivals and events hosted here throughout the year, any time is good time to visit and explore.
