

Scotts Canada announces the recipients of the
Gro for Good Grants for school gardens
to recognize the Year of the Garden 2022
Mississauga, ON (May, 2022) –
We are happy to announce that the Gro for Good Grant Winners school garden edition have been selected.
Firstly, we would like to thank all those who took the time to fill out an application. There were so many worthy applications, it was challenging to choose the winners.
The School Garden grants are valued at $1,000 (in cash) and will be awarded to selected schools across Canada based on impact at the school and local community, student involvement and sustainability.
And the winners are……

– Admiral Seymour Elementary School, Vancouver BC
– Parkland Public School, Saulte Ste.Marie ON

The Gro for Good, School Garden Edition (for 2022 only) grants are part of Scotts Canada’s commitment to support green space solutions that improve and help our youth and communities connect outdoors and enjoy the benefits of gardening. Public greenspaces offer numerous life-changing benefits for the neighborhoods in which they are created. Scotts Canada, in partnership with Communities in Bloom, Plant • Grow • Share a Row, and Nutrients for Life, applauds your efforts to enhance your community.
