The Village of Petitcodiac is a community of all seasons for those in every season of life. The Village is located in the south eastern part of the province with the communities of Moncton, Riverview, and Sussex all located just 30 minutes away with Fundy Nation Park also in close proximity. There is an endless supply of activity spanning all areas of interest and recreation. The Village proudly boasts the Petitcodiac Valley Golf and Country Club drawing golfers from all over the province. The Maritime Motorsports Hall of Fame is home to racing memorabilia both local and from across the country. The Petitcodiac Speedway also services our vehicle appreciating population. Recreation activities occur in community fields, our pool, arena, community garden space, fair grounds, and even the downtown core. Access to a vast groomed 4-wheeler trail system provides a wonderful opportunity for year around outdoor family friendly fun.
The Village embodies small town hospitality, old-time values and is rich in history. The peaceful Village with space to grow has increasingly attracted young families to the community, seeking a simpler way of life. It takes a village to raise a child and our k-12 school is one of the top-rated facilities in the province and is the recent recipient of a brand-new play ground as well as a welding and trade shop addition. Petitcodiac loves to celebrate! Summer send off, winter carnival, arts and culture festival, street parties, parades, soap box racing, agricultural fair, car shows and more.
