About the Leisure Information Network (LIN)

The Leisure Information Network (LIN – lin.ca) is recognized as Canada’s national knowledge-based digital forum for sharing information vital to recreation, parks and healthy living. LIN is the home for the National Recreation Database, which contains close to 25,000 resources ranging from policies and procedures to program plans. LIN estimates that each year users download the equivalent of $3.6 million worth of no-cost value added materials. LIN has also been a leader in creating new online spaces for information sharing, such as the National Benefits Hub (benefitshub.ca), Northern Links (northernlinks.org) and ON After School (onafterschool.ca).

LIN is a national non-profit organization established in 1995, governed by a Board of Directors with input from a National Leaders’ Group.
