Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) is the national voice on the social, economic and environmental benefits of parks and recreation. Over the course of its 60-year history, CPRA has been a credible and strong national and international leader. It is dedicated to ensuring national policies and programs reflect the realities and needs of the sector. CPRA represents the collective experience, expertise, network and knowledge of the 13 provincial /territorial members – representing over 90% of Canadian communities. Ensuring all Canadians have the opportunity to experience the mental and physical health benefit from the park and recreation system is fundamental to CPRA.
