
Bruderheim is located in the southwest of the Alberta HUB region within the Alberta Industrial Heartland. The Town of Bruderheim is a vibrant community of over 1,398 residents, located on the western High Load Corridor that serves the northeast. The local economy is mainly agricultural based, with a growing impact from local industry, most recently hemp processing. The Town is home to a growing K-six school, a local pharmacy and services of a doctor one afternoon a week, and a regional medical clinic and hospital that are only 10 minutes away. Bruderheim has a local park system, heritage walking trails, indoor and outdoor hockey arenas, a natural area located north of Bruderheim, as well as easy access to Elk Island National Park, which provide for abundant recreational opportunities. In July 2019, Bruderheim will open phase one of the multi-generational park which is the skate board park area located at the Bruderheim Agricultural Grounds.
