Alec is a dedicated landscape industry professional with a strong background in operations, leadership, and workplace safety. Currently serving as Operations Manager at Land Tec Landscape Contractors, Alec has steadily advanced through multiple roles since joining the company in 2017, demonstrating adaptability, initiative, and a commitment to continuous growth.

A graduate of Olds College’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Horticulture program, Alec is passionate about lifelong learning and is currently pursuing several industry certifications, including the National Construction Safety Officer, Certified Landscape Horticulture Manager, and ISA Arborist designations. Alec is also the chair of the CNLA Emerging Leaders Committee; he’s known for his people-centred leadership style. Alec brings strong skills in mentorship, communication, and team development. He has also served as Chair of his company’s Joint Work Health and Safety Committee, reflecting his commitment to fostering safe, supportive, and high-performing workplaces in the green industry.
