2016 Gardens of Remembrance Recipients

We would like to thank all those who submitted an application for the 2016 Gardens of Remembrance program.

The recipient of the Best Garden submission is the Veterans Memorial Garden in Tignish, Prince Edward Island who will receive a grant of $1,500 from Scotts Canada.

The Memorial Park in Sylvan Lake, Alberta and the Remembrance Wall in Brandon, Manitoba will also each receive a $500 grant from Scotts Canada.

The winners of the $100 Home Hardware gift certificate draw are:

  • Cenotaph Poppy Memorial, Goderich, Ontario
  • Heritage Cemetery Cenotaph, Niverville, Manitoba
  • Cenotaph Park, Pincher Creek, Alberta

The Remembrance Gardens will be featured in the 2017 Spring edition of the Communities in Bloom Magazine.
